عالم الغیب میں دوالفاظ استعمال ہوئے ہیں پہلا عالم اور دوسرا غیب، عالم جاننے والے کو کہتے ہیں اور غیب کے معنی چھپی ہوئی چیز اور وہ چیز جو آئندہ ہونے والی ہے ۔اب اگر کسی شخص میں یہ صفت ہوکہ وہ بغیر کسی دوسرے کی مدد کے یعنی اسے کوئی نہ بتائے اور وہ خود صرف اپنے علم سے یہ جان لے کہ آئندہ کیا ہونے والا ہے یا اس کے پاس ایسا علم ہوکہ چھپی ہوئی چیزیں اس کے سامنے بغیر کسی کی مدد کے ظاہر ہوجائیں تو ایسا شخص عالم الغیب کہلائے گا اب ہم ایسا شخص مخلوق میںاگر تلاش کریں تو شاید ایسا شخص ہمیں کوئی بھی نہ ملے گا جو یہ کہے کہ میرے پاس ایک ایسا علم ہے ایک ایسی قوت ہے کہ مجھے کوئی نہیں بتاتااور میں جانتا ہوں جوکچھ چھپا ہوا ہے اور جو کچھ ظاہر ہے اور میں جانتا

اور اسی کے پاس ہیں کنجیاں غیب کی نہیں جانتا انہیں کوئی سوائے اس کے اور وہ تو جانتا ہے اسے بھی جو خشکی میں ہے اور جو سمندر میں ہے اور نہیں جھڑتا کوئی پتہ مگر وہ اس کے علم میں ہے اور نہ کوئی دانہ زمین کے تاریک Most do not have any curtains and dry) thing (but bright book) listed (has.) Al: 59 (

ان تمام آیتوں کے مطالعہ سے ثابت ہوتا ہے کہ غیب کا علم صرف اﷲہی کے خاص ہے اس کے علاوہ کسی کے پاس یہ علم نہیں کہ وہ چھپی ہوئی چیزوں کو جان لے ۔
Abdullah ibn Umar narrated that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah upon him the keys of the unseen which no one knows except Allah.
1: What's in a woman's womb.

اس حدیث اور قرآنی آیات سے ثابت ہوتاہے کہ علم غیب خاص صفت الٰہی ہے اﷲتعالیٰ اپنی صفات وربوبیت کسی کو بھی عطا نہیں فرماتاﷲتعالیٰ ہی ازل سے ابد تک کے تمام حالات کو جانتا ہے اور وہی اس کائنات کے نظام کو اپنے علم اور تدبیر سے چلارہاہے ، No one in this work and the Partner does not need any help
